Series 4 of How the Universe Works has slipped its leash and is racing headlong into full production. It’s an exciting time for us as we are freshening up, or as they say in Hollywood re-imagining the show. The show has been a stalwart performer for Discovery Science tackling topics that most shows won’t touch. This time we are pushing further and tackling some truly mind-bending topics including Inside a Black Hole, How the Universe Created Life and Your Car. The challenge for us is how to develop new and dynamic strands for the show without messing with the show's intrinsic DNA, explaining how the cosmos works without dumbing down. One way is to use more visual analogies in tandem with our stunning CGI. We have also added some new vibrant contributors to join the team who will bring fresh knowledge and energy. We aim to challenge our viewers a bit more, set up conundrums and mysteries that will be investigated and solved within the show. It's all very exciting kicking off with a shoot in Iceland. It's the perfect visual analogy for the early earth and has similar volcanic structures as the moon. Terrific times...Watch this space.
