The Promise won the Drama Award at the One World Media Awards last night.
One World Media Awards recognise excellence in media coverage of the developing world and the Drama Award, highlights the contribution of feature films and TV and radio dramas in bringing international stories to UK audiences.
Peter Kosminsky's critically-acclaimed Channel 4 series, The Promise, explored Britain's role in the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.
Pioneer Productions was recognised at the Panda Awards for its critically acclaimed series, In the Womb; Extreme Animals, it was announced today.
The awards were part of the Wildscreen Global Wildlife and Environmental Film Festival held in Bristol for more than 600 delegates from around the world.
The two hour special, which was a co-production for Channel 4 and National Geographic received the Parthenon Entertainment Award for Innovation.
BBC presenter Kate Silverton and explorer Benedict Allen presented Pioneer's Head of Production, Kirstie McLure with the award.
Kirstie said: "Pioneer is very proud of our In the Womb series and to be commended for our innovation by Wildscreen is testament to everyone who worked so hard from developing the idea to getting it on screen. We're absolutely delighted!"
The series was directed by Peter Chin.

In Partnership with Scottish Government, Tinopolis Interactive was nominated as a finalist at the recent e-Government awards. The 'Engage for Education' website was short listed in two categories; 'Central e-Government excellence: Team' and 'e-Government excellence: Innovation in strategy on a national level'.
