Passion Distribution is pleased to announce a raft of deals in Poland including the WORST DRIVER (1 x 60’) format to TTV, TIMBER KINGS (35 x 60') to Fokus TV and TOO FAT FOR 15 (27 x 60') to CBS Reality.
Golden Media will be producing 1st season of WORST DRIVER for TTV following a format deal. Mentorn Media produced WORST DRIVER has become a hit format in over 20 territories with over a 1,000 episodes produced worldwide. In a separate deal TVN acquired a package of over 15 hours of programming including documentaries MY CHILD WON’T TALK (1 x 60’) for their TVN Style Channel and ESCORTS (1 X 60’) for TTV as well as documentary series UNREPORTED WORLD S29 (8 x 30’) also for TTV. TVN have also acquired long running series MOTORCYLE COPS S6 (5 x 60’) for TVN Turbo and KITCHEN CRASHERS S4 (13 x 30’) for TVN Style.
Fokus TV has acquired a package of over 75 hours of factual programming. The package includes factual entertainment series TIMBER KINGS S1 & S2, PROSPECTORS S2 & S3. Other titles include documentaries TERROR IN MUMBAI, KATIE: MY BEAUTIFUL FACE and HURRICANE 360. TERROR IN MUMBAI ( 1 x 60') is the Bafta winning documentary from Quicksilver Media, which tells the story of India’s “9/11” through the intense personal experience of victims, heroes, and eyewitnesses, set against a timeline of how the atrocities unfolded across the city during those three terrible days.
Also in Poland, CBC Reality has picked up TOO FAT FOR FIFTHTEEN and TOO FAT FOR FIFTHTEEN – FIGHTING BACK. The hit docu-series follows the incredible journeys of obese teens as they come face-to-face with the food and feelings that threaten their health and futures and how students fight back. Season 1 was a huge ratings success on Style - the premiere more than doubled Style’s evening average and drew in a younger skewing audience. A Daisybeck production for Style Network.
