Passion Distribution is delighted to announce global sales of it’s popular factual entertainment titles PROSPECTORS, KLONDIKE GOLD FEVER and CARVER KINGS.
In Australia sales include PROPSECTORS S1-3 and KLONDIKE GOLD FEVER S1-3 to Seven Network for it’s FDTT channel 7Mate. In Germany, ProSiebenSat.1 has acquired PROSPECTORS S3, TIMBER KINGS S2 and CARVER KINGS for it’s FDTT channel ProSieben MAXX. ProSieben MAXX has acquired the series as part of a 60 hour package of programming which also includes STALKED S1-4 and Eco Trip S1. Other factual entertainment series sales include SO YOU THINK YOU’D SURVIVE S1 acquired by MediaCorp Singapore for Channel 5.
Passion will be bringing to MIPCOM an extensive slate of returning seasons of its key hit factual entertainment shows including PROSPECTORS S4 (10 x 60’ & 1 x 60’ Special), KLONDIKE: GOLD FEVER S4 (10 x 60’ & 1 x 60’ Special) and COLD WATER COWBOYS S3 (8 x 60’), THE MOTORBIKE SHOW S3 (6 x 60’) and FAT GUYS IN THE WOODS S2 (8 x 60’).
New series in the genre include BARN FINDERS (20 x 60’) for Channel 4 from HCA Entertainment. Presented by Henry Cole and Simon O’Brien, in each episode the presenters are invited into two barn owner’s properties to search for some interesting and possibly valuable items learning about the history of the village and the items themselves. Once their favourite items have been decided upon the selected “picks” are taken away to their respective restoration experts to see what can be done to restore and upcycle and then make the barn owners as much money as possible.
