Congratulations to everyone at Daybreak Pictures, as their film is set to premiere at this year's Toronto International Film Festival.
Starring Russell Crowe, Nicholas Hoult and George Mackay, the film is adapted from Peter Carey’s Man Booker prize winning novel True History of the Kelly Gang. This thrilling, bold adaptation charts the rise and fall of Australia’s original Mad Max; a coming of age tale about a defiant rebel sworn to wreak vengeance and havoc on the British Empire.
Hal Vogel (Endgame, Britz) is attached as one of the producers, with Justin Kurzel (Blue Tongue, Snowtown) directing.
The Toronto International Film Festival runs from 5th -15th September 2019.
