For the second year, Mentorn Media has followed Scruffts, the nation’s crossbreed dog competition, exclusively for Channel 4. Tonight at 8pm viewers can see the finalists who have beaten nearly 1,500 hopeful hounds to compete for the title of Britain’s Favourite Crossbreed Dog 2017.
Focusing on the family dogs we love - and highlighting the amazing work done by dog rescuers – the competition celebrates the mixed-up mutts that prove it's what's on the inside that counts!
This year’s competition has been tougher than ever and has seen heats and semi-finals across the UK, highlighting the unique relationship between dogs and humans.
Whittled down to just six canine competitors, the finalists get the chance to strut their stuff at the world’s most prestigious dog show, Crufts.
Finalists include: Most Handsome Dog Finalist – King Tommy and owner Monique; Good Citizen Dog Scheme Finalist – Biscuit and owner Joshua; Golden Oldie Finalist – Vinny and owner Sarah; Prettiest Bitch Finalist – Ginny and owner Judy; Child’s Best Friend Finalist – Bonnie and owner Grace; and Best Rescue Finalist – Fleur with owner Wendy.
Tune in to Scruffts: Britain’s Favourite Dog, tonight, March 17th at 8pm on Channel 4 to find out who will be crowned champion.
