Mentorn Media has secured recommissions for two of its long-running BBC series, The Big Questions and Things Not To Say.
Nicky Campbell will return to host series 12 of BBC One’s The Big Questions (10x60’), starting in January 2019. The programme, produced by Mentorn Scotland, will present another weekly series of ethical and moral debates on Sunday mornings. The programme travels around the UK with a live studio audience made up of members of the public and invited guests, including academics, journalists, authors, religious figures.
Things Not To Say (10x6), Mentorn’s award-winning series for BBC Three, will return for a sixth series in 2019. The shorts will continue to offer a platform for young people to share their unique experiences, allowing contributors to speak honestly and humorously about common misconceptions and stereotypes. Discussing everything from veganism and bisexuality to amputees and tattoos, the programme has also received a Mind Media Award for its accurate and sensitive portrayal of mental health in Things Not To Say To People with Schizophrenia and Things Not To Say to People with Bipolar.

Both The Big Questions and Things Not To Say are executive produced by Nicolai Gentchev. The Big Questions was commissioned by Fatima Salaria, BBC Commissioning Editor for Religion and Ethics and Kate Ansell, Assistant Commissioner for Daytime and Early Peak.
Things Not To Say was commissioned by Damian Kavanagh, Controller of BBC Three, the Commissioning Editor for BBC Three is Nasfim Haque.
