Warner Bros. Discovery – for its Animal Planet network across Asia and Japanese public broadcaster NHK have acquired Dinosaur with Stephen Fry (4 x 60’). Presented by legendary actor, writer, and dinosaur enthusiast, Stephen Fry, the documentary series chronologically tells the definitive story of dinosaurs’ 185 million years on earth - from the dawn of the dinosaurs to their extinction. NHK has also licensed Big Ben: Restored: The Grand Unveiling (1 X 60’), the final episode in a series of documentaries following the restoration of London's most iconic landmark to its original glory.
Hong Kong’s HK Television Entertainment Company Limited has licensed a package of programming including The Royals: A History of Scandals (4 x 60’), Elizabeth: A Life Through the Lens (1 x 60’), Miriam & Alan: Lost in Scotland (7 X 60’), The Cotswolds with Pam Ayres (10 x 60’), How to Build a City (8 x 60’) and Tool Club (15 x 60’).
Further sales in in Hong Kong include TVB acquiring Engineering Reborn (8 x 60’) and all three seasons of lifestyle series Lap of Luxury (26 x 30’).
AETN18 Media Pvt Ltd, India have picked up Secrets of the Superfactories S2 (8 x 60’).
