SUMMERSAULTS AS SUNSET+VINE WINS BRITISH GYMNASTICS HOST BROADCAST PRODUCTION DEAL

Global TV sports producer and distributor Sunset+Vine has been commissioned by British Gymnastics to host broadcast the 2018 Gymnastics World Cup which takes place at Arena Birmingham on the 21st and 22nd March 2018. Under the terms of the agreement, Sunset+Vine will produce the World Feed for international broadcasters.

Last week, British Gymnastics announced an historic three year deal with BBC Sport. The agreement includes the exclusive broadcast of the Gymnastics World Cup which will be streamed live on the BBC app, website and Red Button on Wednesday 21st and Thursday 22nd March, with a highlights programme airing on BBC One on Saturday 24th March.

The Sunset+Vine World Feed will be directed by Kate McKeag, whose previous gymnastics directing experience includes the 2016 Gymnastics World Cup, Glasgow 2014 Commonwealth Games and the British Championship.

Part of the International Gymnastics Federation (FIG) World Cup Series, the event will feature 18 leading gymnasts from eight nations including the Great Britain team of Amy TinklerAlice Kinsella, James Hall and Dominick Cunningham. Gymnasts will take part in the all-around competition which for men includes the floor, pommel horse, rings, vault, parallel bars and high bars whilst the women will battle it out on the vault, uneven bars, beam and floor.
