The global sports media company Sunset+Vine has today announced that industry leader Raj Mannick will join the company as Head of Digital.
Mannick will join the Sunset+Vine team in January with a remit to accelerate the growth of the digital side of the business. He will be responsible for building on the company’s excellent track record in providing a range of social and digital services to clients such as Amazon Prime Video, Channel 5, World Rugby, the Kennel Club, Henley Royal Regatta, Mobil1 The Grid and the Commonwealth Games.
As well as supporting existing projects, Mannick and his team will look to reposition the Sunset+Vine brand in the digital and social space, applying the same levels of innovation and creativity the company brings to its broadcast productions.
Mannick brings with him more than 10 years of experience with a proven track record of successfully launching and managing major sports production contracts across digital and broadcast. He previously worked as Head of Sport and Digital at ITN Productions before taking on the role as Head of Sport at Yahoo Sport UK where he revamped the content strategy to become more video focussed.
Mannick will join Sunset+Vine from his current position as Content Director, Seven League where most recently he's been leading the team delivering social strategy and content for Qatar at the FIFA World Cup 2022.
Sunset+Vine Managing Director David Tippett commented “We’ve got bold ambitions to expand our range of digital and social services and Raj’s appointment is a serious statement of our intent. He brings real experience, leadership and understanding to what is already a very talented team. We can’t wait for him to start in the New Year.”
Raj Mannick added "I’m thrilled to join the talented Sunset+Vine team at a time when the landscape of sport continues to diversify and evolve. A trusted leader in sports production with storytelling at its heart, Sunset+Vine is uniquely placed to challenge conventions and help brands, rights-holders and broadcasters reach new fans in creative ways.”
