Sunset+Vine wins Most Innovative Sports Broadcast Award

Sunset+Vine was announced as the winner of the Most Innovative Sports Broadcast at this year’s Sports Technology Award 2020, the leading global celebration of tech-led innovations in sports, for the INEOS 1.59 Challenge.

Sunset+Vine won for its work on the live coverage of Eliud Kipchoge’s historic sub-2-hour marathon record attempt on October 12th, 2019. The company delivered the live international TV, YouTube and event website feeds working with Singluar.live (which itself took the Award for ‘Best technology for Fan Engagement’).

The ceremony, which was streamed virtually, attracted a worldwide audience of over 1,000 industry figures, which included Olympians, World Cup winners, sports coaches, directors of sports federations, and significant figures from the business of sports.

The full shortlist is available here and the 2021 cycle of The Sports Technology Awards launched on 16th September 2020. More information about the Awards can be found at www.sportstechgroup.org

Congratulations to everyone who worked hard to make this event and programme the success that it was.
